In September, 1980 Desailly Engineering commenced business as a Structual & General Engineering shop. The main source of work was structual steel for supermarkets, hospitals and houses for local builders. They also manufactured & repaired heavy machinery for government departments, both State & Local as well as private clients.

Desailly Engineering incorporated in February 1982 and continued to be involved with their existing business. Being always keen to find something new or challenging and prepared to listen to customers requests, they commenced manufacturing front-end loaders & water tanks for the local departments in the agricultural sector. They commenced looking further afield for other types of work, hence the setting up of the fitting & machining shop, which has also grown in capacity over the years.
